Additional Information
WC
Please do not flush toilet paper towels or disposable diapers down the toilet.
Water
We recommend during your stay that you only drink bottled water. Tap water is fine
for cooking, but it is NOT suitable for consumption.
In the event that you find your property without water, please check the fuse box, as the water motor is powered by electricity.
Check if all the differentials are upwards.
If not, please do not hesitate to contact our assistance team.
Gas
In the event that you run out of gas, a spare bottle will be supplied for you to change, please check for a spare before contacting us. If you have any questions about the gas supply, you can contact us.
Kitchens and Cooktops
All our vacation homes are equipped with all the necessary appliances for your comfort and use. Some homes have ceramic hobs and in some cases gas stoves. If you have any questions, you can contact us and we will help you.
Refrigerators and Freezers
We recommend not overloading these appliances since in summer, due to high temperatures and continuous opening of the doors, they could not cool properly.
Microwave
Do not use metal items, aluminum foil, plastic and wood, lead crystal, or items with metallic paint. Never operate the microwave oven when it is empty.
BBQ
Most of our holiday homes may have a barbecue available. ⚠ Please make good use of it and always remember to clean the barbecue at the end of its use. BBQ is not allowed in the apartments.
Air-Conditioning
Please remember to always keep doors and windows closed when using the air
conditioner. Never have the air conditioning on and the window or door open. Air
conditioning units used in conjunction with doors and windows open will cause the
units to freeze and not function properly. They will also emit excess gases and pollute
the atmosphere.
Air conditioning must be used responsibly. Some villas have a sensor called “smart
mode”
, with time restrictions, it will be deactivated when you leave each of the areas of
the house. However, in order to turn it on you will have to activate it again yourself.
In other villas the air conditioners have a timer that is available for use between 14:00-
16:00 and 20:00-08:00 every day.
If there is not, we ask that you respect this schedule.
⚠ On the day of your departure, we ask you to please leave the air conditioning off.
Distribution Panel
If you have any problems, go to the fuse box first and make sure all the switches
are in the vertical position.
If switches do not keep in operation:
- Turn the main switch to the off position (for 10 sec.)
- Next, set all other switches to the low position.
- Place the main switch in the vertical position and place the other switches individually in the vertical position.
Electricity
The electricity supply is 220 volts in Mallorca. Please do not overload the electrical circuits or the voltage will be disconnected. Using multiple appliances together can overload circuits and disrupt power.
Garbage
We recommend that you never leave garbage at home, place it in plastic bags and take it to the nearest container periodically, this way you will avoid attracting insects, rodents and other animals from the countryside. Through the following link, we provide you with the location of the garbage deposit point closest to your accommodation. Garbage must be collected on the day of departure. If this is not done, we will charge your card an amount of €150.
Ants
Ants are present throughout the island of Mallorca!
So they could also be a problem present in your villa.
⚠ It is important not to leave sweets, drinks or any kind of crumbs around.
A suggestion to avoid ants is to buy a product at the supermarket to scare them
away.
Cockroaches
They are all exterminated with a product that can be found in supermarkets.
Mosquitos
In the Welcome Package that we provide you upon arrival at the villa you will find some anti-mosquito wipes. If you develop an adverse reaction to a mosquito bite, it is best to see a doctor.
Dishwasher and Washing Machines
To avoid blockages and ensure proper dishwasher operation, it is recommended to remove food remains from the dishes before placing them in the appliance. To use the washing machine, we recommend that you use the appropriate program for the type of clothes you are going to wash. Take the precaution of waiting for the complete program to finish since in some models it will take a few minutes for the door to unlock.

Tobacco or Smoking Area
Please be careful when disposing of cigarettes or matches for your own safety and try to dispose of them carefully. We ask that you use ashtrays and do not smoke inside the property.
Locks
Be careful if your accommodation has key locks in the different rooms, especially if you are traveling with children.
As a preventive measure to avoid theft
Please ensure you lock all doors, windows and blinds when leaving the accommodation. Always use the safe provided for your valuables and small electronic equipment. Do not leave anything valuable in the vehicle. Prevention in these cases is the best option. Sealand Villas will not be responsible in case of theft.
Stairs
If your accommodation has stairs, we recommend that you take special care if there are children in the property, giving them appropriate instructions in order to avoid unnecessary risks. Special care should also be taken with elderly people.
Smart TV and Satellite
If you have a Smart-TV television, you can use your own username and password. Remember, if you have used your own data, at the end of your stay please log out with your data. To use satellite, first turn on the TV, select the satellite channel and then use the remote control from the satellite TV.
